Yoga therapy works naturally for you because it engulfs a clear understanding of the science of movement, anatomy, function, body systems and more with the integration of the mind to create balance in motion.

A series of yogasanas accomplish more in a short time because a yogasana (an exercise) performs a variety of health benefits at a single time.

Couple

Couples yoga therapy generates a connection to assist each partner for profound benefits.  Partners do not have to be intimate, can be friends and have fun.

Using safe practices and techniques, you move through yogasana, mindfulness, meditation and spiritual aspects of yoga together.

You address each other needs through yoga alignment, mobility, flexibility in addition to easing distress, pain, illness and/or injury.  Before starting you centre yourself to share your energy, make connections to balance yourselves together.

Earth Connections

Balancing the seven yoga and Buddhist chakras inherent in your physical body, you can connect to the earth, your life force (created by deep breathing) and those around you profoundly.

When you are conscious of your chakra energy, you can heal your heart, mind and physical self by attuning through meditation with your energy to that of the earth.

In this manner, you remain grounded, protected, energised, clear thinking, physically sound and learn of profound emotional and mental health.

Elderly

Stage three yoga is the later part of your life.  You may have different physical and mental challenges to when you were young.

Yoga therapy addresses the need to keep you subtle, warm, flexible, mobile and prevent falls or injuries by helping with balance and more natural movement.

When you have an injury, illness or condition yoga therapy is a specific balanced approach of compassionate techniques help you heal, regain health and/or maintain your health as you age.

Pregnancy

My approach is to support you through all the three stages of conscious pregnancy – prenatal, pregnancy and postnatal with all the accruements of yoga therapy.

Working with your specific needs, you are supported and prepared for becoming pregnant, during your pregnancy for giving birth in a natural as possible manner as your circumstances enable, and post-natal of 40 days, or 120 days.

Yoga massage, breath work, physical and mind connections to balance your connection to the baby and your needs.

Simply ‘be’

While sessions through Skype are in your choice of space, I do encourage you to wear loose, warm and cosy clothing to help you feel at ease. Sit in a comfortable chair or sit or lay on the floor. I have even had someone relaxing in a hammock. However, you wish to be as long as your position does not block your physical energy.
